Privacy Policy

The short version

WO Buddy stores what it needs to build and remember your training plan. It does not sell your data, does not run advertising trackers or use your data to train any model. With your permission, we use Google Analytics and PostHog to understand how the product is used and where it fails. They stay off if you reject optional analytics. Card details are never seen by this app — payment is handled entirely by Dodo Payments.

Cookies and analytics

The consent banner stores one necessary first-party cookie, wo_analytics_consent, for up to one year so it can remember whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics. Google Analytics and PostHog do not load or receive events until you accept. Rejecting them does not limit the app.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing stops future analytics and removes Google Analytics cookies that the app can access from this site.

What you can use without an account

You can answer the questionnaire and get a free plan with no account and no sign-up. That plan is stored only in your browser’s local storage — it never reaches our servers unless you sign in, at which point it is copied to your account once.

What we collect once you sign in

• Account details — email address, display name and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account photo.
• Your plan — your questionnaire answers and the training block generated from them, including any exercises you swap or sessions you reschedule.
• Workout logs — the sets, reps and weight you record while training, if you choose to log them.
• Progress photos — photos you optionally attach to a finished workout. Nobody but you can see these.
• Vitals — height, weight and age, if you choose to add them on your profile. All optional, and you can clear any of them at any time.
• Subscription status — whether your account is free or Pro, and a customer reference from our payment processor so a future purchase doesn’t create a duplicate customer record.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of processors to run the service, and share only what each one needs to do its job:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, database and photo storage.
• Dodo Payments — checkout and payment processing. Your card details go directly to Dodo; this app never receives or stores them.
• Resend — delivers the email that sends you a copy of your plan, when you ask for one.
• Google Analytics — when you accept optional analytics, uses cookies to record site usage such as pages visited, session activity and device type so we can understand and improve the product. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled.
• PostHog — when you accept optional analytics, records product usage and application errors so we can improve WO Buddy. If you are signed in, these events are associated with your account identifier and may include your email address and display name.

We don’t run advertising trackers, and we don’t sell or rent your data to anyone.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. Deleting your account removes your plans, logs and photos; email us (below) to request this.

Your choices

You can edit or clear your vitals at any time from your profile, delete individual plans from the app, and request full account deletion by contacting us. This app gives general fitness information, not medical advice — see the note in the footer of every page.
